For the average player, baccarat offers the best odds in the house, giving the house barely a 1% edge. With the winning strategies presented in this book, you can take advantage of this by using Kayser's remarkably clever betting systems to walk away with the casino's money. Seventeen informative and power-packed chapters show beginning and experienced players everything they need to know about the game of baccarat, from the rules of the games, casino etiquette, and the history of baccarat, to basic plays, winning strategies, and advanced techniques.
Secrets of Winning Baccarat eBook Brian Kayser
This book offers an in-depth discussion of intelligently betting the player/banker hands of baccarat -- based on the odds over the course of an entire shoe. Mr. Kaysar's system offers the player no magical system to guaranteed riches. In fact the author is honest about his system and the expected win ratio playing the basic strategy, according to the author is: 55% of half of shoes played the bettor will win, lose of 40% of shoes and tie the remaining 5% (pg.70). Again, I am pleased with the authors honesty, which so many others lack when jacking up the win ratios for their "systems." The author plainly states, "If there were some magical 'system' to winning at baccarat...no one in his right mind would write a book and tell you about it. He'd just keep it to himself and get rich." (pg.207) What is offered in this book, in my opinion, is a sound and reasonable strategy to winning hands at baccarat. It is a simple system, but not simplistic, and may require a bit of mental effort, at least at first, when applying his strategies. The reason why it is lacking five stars is two-fold: first, a more in-depth discussion of money management and betting procedures would have been welcome. Secondly, since the author is a mathematician (and I was happy to see his work peer reviewed), some of his concepts could be more fully explained in a simpler fashion for laymen such as myself -- especially when he begins to discuss "standard deviations" and so forth.
I would heartily recommend this book for anyone looking to add to his gambling book collection on baccarat. I would go so far as to say it is required reading on the subject if you have more than a passing interest in winning at the baccarat table, even if you disagree with his method.

Secrets of Winning Baccarat eBook Brian Kayser Reviews
I wouldn't buy this book if you are just starting in the game. This book can help you through bad shoes, but you must be able to recognize what a bad shoe is, and then apply a combination of basic strategy and advanced strategy #3 (Run Vs Singleton).
However in good shoes. 7 or more ties per shoe(Because I play ties) I have found that if you use the methods in this book. It costs you money on good shoes in mini-baccarat. Now if you have good money management skills. (aka. quit while ahead.) And know what you are doing, but would like some help getting through bad shoes, purchase this book. If you are looking for a book to start learning the game. Look elsewhere.

This book was so so. I tried some of the so called secrets and have not had much success. It's entertaining but that's about all.
I don't care too much about the strategies it introduces, but Chapter 9, "Frame of mind" alone is worth every penny of it.
For all you Baccarrat players out there, this is the BEST book on how to play and possibly make money on this casino game ,which has one of the best odds of all the casino games ---Thank you --!!!!!
Baccarat is the only casino game I play and I decided to write a book about the game. Once I finished the manuscript, I wanted to compare my findings with others who had written about the game. Brian's book Secrets of Winning Baccarat. Would be my number one recommendation for those interested in learning about the game. As of this writing, the book has received some poor ratings from other readers most of which are related to an approach the author of the provides as an example of play. To this, and based on my own experience, there are many approaches one can take to playing the game and each will yield different results and anything a player does will come down to their gambling goals and action requirements. Perhaps the author could have made this point more clear. However, when I read the book, I didn't think that his method was the only way to play the game, but rather, a correct accounting of his actual experiences. I enjoyed the book and would highly recommend it.
AWESOME! Lot of great info and the math involved is impeccable. This book is a must read for baccarat players. Ask yourself What is the % of winning any given hand? If you don't know then buy the book otherwise you are just gambling. The title may throw some people or put them off but it contains the math behind baccarat and has some solid techniques.
